Beavers Scouts from Arundel & Littlehampton District took part in the annual Beaver Scout Sandcastle competition on Littlehampton Beach on Sunday 22 September.

Over 40 Beavers Scouts spent an afternoon of games and sandcastle building on the Beach near Norfolk Road. The Beaver Scouts aged 6 to 8 years with a little adult help, produced a series of fantastic Sandcastles, including a replica of Arundel Castle and one complete with its own flower garden. Games included relay races using buckets and spades to keep in with the Sandcastle theme of the day.

The judging was extremely difficult to do and the result was very close, however the overall winners were a combined team from the 5th and 7th Littlehampton Beaver Scout Colonies.
